Our Powdered Daisu Stainless Japanese Steel knives are handcrafted with extraordinary skill. It is forged of the highest quality steel according to the traditional methods used in ancient Japanese sword making by our master artisans of incomparable skill, some of which have over 50 years of experience. Powdered Daisu Stainless Japanese Steel uses traditional method of craftsmanship blended with modern metallurgy. Forged from a single piece of Powdered Daisu Stainless Japanese Steel with a hardness on the Rockwell scale of 62-63, the steel is prized for its excellent edge retention and stain-resistant feature that requires low maintenance and is noncorrosive. Powdered Steel is forged at high temperatures to evenly disperse the metallic elements to create a steel composition that is durable enough to be used in industrial machinery and power tools.

This Gyuto comes equipped with an elegant rosewood handle with a full tang for a balanced comfortable grip.
